I have fished in many locations in Alaska but finally settled on the Nushagak River as the ultimate destination. I fished at 3 different camps on the river before finding the lodge. I have fished for kings 3 times and silvers once with Rick and Nelda at the Nushagak River Fishing Lodge. Each year it was better than the last. We averaged a dozen kings a day per person for the 4 of us and last year, we averaged 35 silvers per day per person for 8 of us. This isn't "fishing", it is "catching". The food was extraordinary, the service was top notch - friendly people/staff, and the guides are super. I missed this year but am planning my 5th stay with them next year. Unbeatable!!
